According to Cointelegraph, Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas said that a combination of people reshuffling and a “softened” SEC increased the potential for a legal fund appearing in the future.
Maybe we'll see a Bitcoin ETF gaining US regulatory approval pretty soon (or not pretty soon).

Metropolis Around The Corner
According to The Merkle, a tentative date has now been provided by the developers and Metropolis will go into effect at the end of next month and will introduce some interesting changes.
Last time I mentioned Metropolis on here I said that Ethereum rose 430% in the 35 days leading up to the last protocol upgrade (and current version, Homestead). We'll see what happens this time around.

Canadian? No Problem.
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued a temporary suspension of First Bitcoin Capital, a publicly-traded Bitcoin firm based out of Canada.
To quote the SEC, "The Commission temporarily suspended trading in the securities of BITCF because of concerns regarding the accuracy and adequacy of publicly available information about the company including, among other things, the value of BITCF’s assets and its capital structure. This order was entered pursuant to Section 12(k) of the Exchange Act."

Congressional candidate Patrick Nelson is now accepting Bitcoin donations for the 2018 election. Apparently contribution in Bitcoin currently have a cap of $100 per donor.
