COIN BULLETIN
Overstock to Open Token Exchange
According to CoinDesk, tØ, the capital markets arm of Overstock's blockchain-focused subsidiary Medici, is launching a first-of-its-kind alternative trading system (ATS) that will provide a platform for the exchange of cryptographic tokens categorized in the U.S. as securities.
All I know is this, I began to sign up for this exchange and it was definitely more tedious than signing up to one of those shady foreign exchanges. I mean, they had me fill out a W2 form, what's up with that, right?
As I understand, there are currently no other regulator-approved ways for U.S. investors to trade ̶s̶h̶i̶t̶c̶o̶i̶n̶s̶ ̶security tokens.

President of European Central Bank On Crypto
The president of the European Central Bank (ECB), Mario Draghi, has stated that bitcoin does not fall under the regulatory powers of the ECB.
At least that's what the headlines say.
What he really said was:
"the magnitude, user acceptance and impact on the real economy [of bitcoin]…it would be very premature to consider it as a payment instrument for the future”. The ECB president stated that the ECB “has not yet had a discussion” regarding the topic, adding that “it would not be [within] our power to prohibit or regulate [bitcoin]”
Translation - He thinks of Bitcoin what we think of every coin that isn't on Coinbase (if you still don't follow, refer to the word with the line through it in the segment above).
And that's what governments will look at them as, that is, until they want them tax dolla dolla bills yo. In that case they are securities.

...as Mario thought to himself, "what shitcoin shall I buy next?"
