CBOE Launches Bitcoin Futures, Site Immediately Crashes
So yesterday bitcoin futures went live on the CBOE Exchange.
The new product garnered so much interest that CBOE’s website became overloaded with the surge of traffic and caused the site to perform slower than usual within moments of the exchange opening.
I know that most of you don't care about this and are just thinking "PRICE PRICE, GIBI PRICE!"
I think the response from bitcoin was a little sluggish. I mean, a ~20% or so increase is good, but it's not that good for one of the most anticipated adoption events to happen to bitcoin.
It does seem like this event was already priced into bitcoin before this weekend started.

Parity Proposes Hard Fork to Reclaim Frozen $160 Million
Coindesk reports that Parity Technologies has published an update on its efforts to reclaim funds lost in a high-profile coding error that occurred on ethereum last month.
The TL;DR - is that the Parity team wants to do a hard-fork and rescue of these funds for its users.
Forks create an alternate version of the blockchain, leaving two blockchains to run simultaneously on different parts of the network.
A hard-fork is a type of fork that renders previously invalid transactions valid, and vice versa. This type of fork requires all nodes and users to upgrade to the latest version of the protocol software.
Oh, and while we're on the topic of Parity wallets, I did a little poll last month. Here are the results.
